Introduction
Hualink Tech. 2.4 mm female has international standard interface, is widely used on high speed data products' test. It has very small 2 hole flange size to save space on PCB, and it's good to work to 50 GHz after connecting to PCB. 2.4 mm connector uses air dielectric, passivated stainless steel body, and beryllium copper center contact, which ensure high quality. And it's easy to install them to PCB by threads, reusable design reduces customers' time and cost. It can work in U wave band stably, wave length is shorter than 10 mm.

1. Hualink's 2.4 mm connector
2.4 mm series connectors have a working frequency up to 50 GHz and adopt a reliable threaded connection method. They are used in more stringent millimeter wave fields such as communications, precision testing, automobiles, satellites, radar, and radio astronomy. The dielectric adopts the air. The thread adopts metric spe M7×0.75 to avoid mismatching with SMA, 3.5 mm, 2.92 mm, SMK, K and other connectors. In order to protect the jack from damage, the outer conductor has been matched to more than 50% before the pin contacting the socket. The interface is compatible with 1.85 mm, V series connectors.
2. Due to the reliable structure, smaller size, excellent electrical performance, higher alignment, robustness and repeatability, the 2.4 series have pushed the development of millimeter wave connectors to a new level. Power Handling Capability
There are 2 types of power handling (expressed in watts) that must be considered
■ Average Power
Average Power - the input power to a cable/connector which will produce a maximum safe center conductor temperature under steady-state conditions when terminated with a matched load.
A safe center conductor temperature is one that will not melt the dielectric.
■ Peak Power
Peak Power-is limited by the voltage rating of the connector. The peak power is determined by the equation V^2/Z where V=the peak voltage rating and Z is the characteristic impedance
