Description
Introduction
This 3.5 mm Female Mixed Technology PCB connector is a high performance version which works to maximum frequency of 34 GHz. VSWR is good to reach 1.30 Max. This 3.5 mm connector has a brass body with gold plating and has a Beryllium Copper Socket. 3.5 mm Jack PCB connectors are connected to PCB via soldering feet and center contact pin. This Mixed technology version allows to layout signal trace on the surface of PCB, which provides more space or possibility for engineer to finish their PCB integrity design. 3.5 mm is named by its dimension of inner diameter; it's easy to distinguish it by inspecting or by eyes, are widely used on test instruments.

FAQ
1. Coupling Style of RF Connectors
Each interface has a coupling style to suit its application
■ Thread
Threaded results in the most robust connection for superior electrical performance. Thread style is characterized by connecting the most reliable, high mechanical strength, good vibration resistance. Due to the mechanical properties of electrical performance for better testing instruments, military aviation. Common thread connector has SMA, Type N, 2.92 mm (K connector), 2.4 mm, 1.85 mm (V Connector) 1.0 mm, 7/16, etc...
■ Bayonet
Bayonet type connector has characteristics as rotated 90 degrees locking, connection speed, and stability. It is suitable for frequent handling equipment, widely used in network systems, instrumentation, and other fields. The BNC series is a typical bayonet connector.
■ Push on
Push on style is characterized by rapid connection and separation, small volume, lightweight. For the shell plate to plate connection, high-density mounting. Common type connector has SMB, MCX, MMCX, SMP(GPO), SMPM(GPPO, SSMP), QMA, 1.0/2.3 etc.
■ Snap-On offers easy and quick mating and de-mating
■ Snap-Lock offers easy mating with the additional mechanical security of a secondary lock
■ Push-On is used for testing or when other features in the application provide location
2. How to choose the RF PCB connector?
Usually, we find a suitable connector by the below parameters:
■ Your characteristic impedance is 50 ohms or 75 ohms
■ The working frequency of your system?
■ The method of installation is solder or solderless?
■ The electrical performance requirements like VSWR and IL
