Description

Introduction

Hualink NF086/RG405/.086” series test cables are cost-effective cable assemblies which are especially suitable for high speed test. This series cable features a silver-plated copper center conductor, strong durable solid PTFE as cable dielectric, along with silver-plated copper braid, and FEP blue jacket. The 2.92mm connector is developed for use of 40 GHz or 43.5 GHz with very low reflection and stable performance. Phase match is available, +/-2 ps is typical value, more stringer requirements please contact us for confirm. Cable overall length is customized.

1. The difference between 2.92 and SMA or 3.5mm

The male pin is shorter than that of an SMA or 3.5mm to ensure that the outer contacts of the male and female connectors engage before the pin and female receptacle do. This ensures that the pin and socket will not see excessive wear and mating stress seen by misalignment in an SMA or 3.5mm connector. The 2.92mm connector also has a thicker wall than a standard SMA. The 2.92mm series mates with SMA and 3.5mm connectors
