This 2.92mm adapter was developed for use to 40 GHz. 3 types adaptors are available, male to male, male to female, female to female. And it provides low VSWR and insertion loss. It uses a Passivated Stainless Steel body and gold plated contact pin. This mm wave adaptor gets very popular due to 5G market's development in these years. Why it calls 2.92 mm? Because it's inner diameter of body is 2.92 mm.
